Last Saturday, we went to the beach for our "Surfin Safari" beach sessions - the first of four we have planned for this summer.
Incredible weather, calm, great for photographing. 4 of our early seniors met us at the beach, and we had a great time.
Here's a couple of photographs from Saturday.
Joelle is a dancer. A very serious dancer with amazing grace in front of the camera. We took some great beach photographs featuring her dancers poise. But she also has a sparkling, happy personality, and this image really captured that joie'd'vive. She was simply laughing at something that I said or did.
The next photograph is of Collin McCready, who brought along his guitar. We found this setting which gave us a great setting for a more classical portrait.

Our next beach session is scheduled for Saturday, August 4th. We've found a great beach that has just about everything you'd want, PLUS, it's seldom windy.
